Spectrum WIFI portal served our customers, out-of-home, non-customers with our complimentary free trial and during a national crisis, as well as WIFI access points for venues across America.
Our product team prioritized, then implement a full redesign of the front-end WIFI portal experience with additional fine-tuning to the back-end systems, ensuring higher visibility of our core WIFI experiences from portal landing, eliminating friction for our visitors to access our complimentary wifi trial services.
My unique profile of working design and web development, made me a great fit to lead development efforts on a multitude of products and platforms. In just a few months I was able to develop out the front-end UI and customer experience.
Seamless integration of the design system - React Design System and UI Kits
The major upgrade in the front-end UI libraries, design systems and user experience was massive accomplishment for our product team and the business, not only were we the first team to successfully upgrade to the latest and greatest but also it was able to generate revenue with integration of company buy-flows.
Digital Platforms
SPECTRUM EMULATOR
As part of the full-service in-house agency, I was tasked to develop features for the Spectrum Emulator React TypeScript platform. Within in months, I made significant code contributions to the codebase and deployed to production.
FEATURES INCLUDED:
Developer PIN removal feature to emulator main interface. Enabling agents to handle customer quickly reducing delivery time by half as tasks can be completed within the same session. This project required I work backend to architect multiple APIs downstream to the front-end. Session expiration needed to be urgently deployed with designs and I was able to jump in design the comps in Figma, then develop out in the session expiration modal and fix the storage issue.
SEARCH FEATURES:
Enhanced search on Spectrum On-Demand streaming service to handle the incoming Access CC/AD/ADD content snd mobile app post-integration. Allowed all our users to explore and index out Access specific content from the OnDemand centralized catalog. I worked closely with the video content team and data analytics to manage headless CMS content.
